We have designed our space with these three words in mind.

The Guest Retreat at Gathering Grains Farm is a fully furnished one-bedroom space that overlooks the beautiful treed pasture of the property. In the warmer months you are partaking in life – from the green pastures and the fully leafed oaks, you can literally breathe in newness. The pasture is often filled with wildflowers and the sounds of nature and country living while you sit on the patio overlooking the field. The Retreat is a comfortable space, featuring a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a reading chair overlooking the field, a full kitchen equipped with everything you need if you choose to cook, the bathroom with the fabulous shower, and the living room with comfortable seating, a smart tv, and a desk that invites you to write in your journal or work on your memoir. If you are traveling with extra guests, the sofa folds out into a queen size bed, or there are cots available to set up wherever you choose (maybe the small private “sleeping room” off the kitchen.

It has everything needed for a getaway. The area has plenty for those that wish to get out and see the countryside and for those that wish to stay at the property and experience a renewal of spirit.

    The homemade bread provided upon arrival was wonderful. I very much look forward to returning to this location and I will definitely be referring it to friends that need an escape from the city.”
